Hi, Thanks for contacting us. Please note the Product on the Page is a calibration contract and not the actual product itself. The Product mentioned here is discontinued and is a service only part.
Since you were looking for a mobile autorefractor, I suggest you P/N#VS100S-B Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener, which would not require any additional parts. This device comes with a one year warranty from the mfr and a carry case.
The battery has a life of 2.5 to 3 years. The only limitation I see is that the device should be sent over to the Mfr in case of a replacement as the battery is integrated into the device.They do not sell batteries individually as spare parts but the device has to go to the service center for battery replacement (roughly at a charge of $350 excluding shipping)
