I have called and spoken with Salterlabs customer service and they have stated that yes, the cannula itself is soft.

I'm looking for soft part to go in the nose itself. My mother had melanoma surgery on her nose a few years back and the current cannula irritates her nose so I'm looking for a softer one for her.
